No sound after changing motherboard
Skype and Vista don't seem to want to play, my problem was similar... let skype adjust volume automatically worked but was so low as to be unusable, manually adjust setting simply killed the sound. Never did figure out the problem but since Skype works perfectly on XP and Linux I simply use one of those.

HDMI Cable - No sound
With the 8600GT installed in the machine I have sound until I load the nvidia drivers, then no sound. Im going to put my Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS card from my D8400 machine in the D9200 to see if can drive the sound to the Sony, just haven't had time to do that yet. Brad That is really weird.

When I play back or record with a VST instrument, eg HALion One, there is no sound from notes with velocity value 1. The notes get recorded, and I can edit (and hear) them afterwards. I could also use the Input Transformer, but I don't understand why this should be necessary. Can anyone confirm this problem?

WABC streaming picture but no sound
I install a DVD Player and when I play a DVD movie, I can see the pictures but there is no sound coming out of the system. However, when I insert an audio CD, there is sound . (and there is also sound if the audio CD is play using the default MP in the win 98) . May I know what is missing here. Thanks.

Standard usage (flouted by many) suggests that setting the fronts to 'large' will keep them full-range with all their bass but will still send the LFE to the subwoofer unless the system is programmed for 'No Sub.'
